Linda is talking about knitting paterns not sewing paterns.  A knitting patern lists, line by line, what stitches you use in each row of your knitting.
They also make paterns for crochet.
I will try to find the contact imfo for her.  Rather busy, with computer problems and going to campus.

Laura, your message got buried under a message from a travel agent, so I don't know if most people will read it.
I know nothing about Braille patterns, but many blind people use regular tissue paper patterns.  Some have them transferred to heavy paper.  I just have someone trim on the cutting line and cut around the pattern.  It helps if the person doing the trimming at least can recognize the symbols on the pattern, but if you can identify the shapes of the pieces, you won't need all the markings.
