[Nfb-krafters-korner] Using Crimping Tools

Lucy:

I know a little about beading. There is a tool specifically for crimping
called crimping pliers which I don't think is especially blind friendly.
When I learned, I took a class at a local shop and was told to use a flat
nose, jewlers plier which is perfectly smooth on the inside. Don't pull out
a pair of pliers from your husbands tool box because chances are it is
ridged on the inside surface. Using the jewlers pliers will let you crimp
and your crimped bead will have a smooth shiny finish. I don't use
tornadoe/twisted crimps either, just a standard crimp bead and have never
had anything fall apart on me.
