Greetings all --
This evening I attended the class on constructing an origami cicada
(locust/cricket), taught by Josalee.
Joyce has asked me to write a followup.
The class was a little late getting started due to some technical problems,
but once Joyce arrived and the recording started, it moved fast.
People in attendance included Josalee (the instructor), Joyce, Carol and
myself (Laura). Others were there briefly but had to leave early.
I found Josalee's tutorial to be very clear and easy to follow. Everyone
was able to finish their cicada.
I made a few more after class just for practice. The one I made during class
was large, using an 8.5" square of paper. But then I tried using 2.5" square
sheets and made a set of tiny ones that turned out good as well.
Overall I would give the class 4 out of 5 stars, with one star taken off for
technical difficulty and the late start.
Thanks to Josalee and all those who made the class possible. I don't know
exactly how many minutes the class took, but that can be determined when the
recording is available. I thought it was 30 minutes but am not sure.
Happy krafting all!
