It is a square loop of 2 altrinating colors.  
If you send me your address, asap, I can send you a pack of squares and 2 needles for $5.00.  Hopefully you will get them in time for the class.  The instructions are pretty detailed if you get them late.  You can sit in and I can always help you over the phone.

I don't know if I can attend that or not, but want to.  I need to know where to buy the materials.  We are in a small town.  I'll ask around.  What design are you putting on the coasters?

Block Loop Coasters

SUPPLIES:

1.   You can buy precut squares of 7 count canvas.  the squares are 4 inches 
square.

Check the edges for smootheness, before buying.  I have come across 
defective squares, in the past.

2.  Size 16 needle, 2 packs,  I find this size works best, but you may use 
one that's slightly larger.

Make sure the eye of the needle goes through the squares easily. Use a blunt 
point for beginning.

3.  Two colors of coordinating yarn or verigated and a matching solid yarn, 
3 or 4 ply.

4. A pair of small scissors, the Iowa folding scissors do fine.

5. a case to keep your scissors and needles in, such as a change purse that 
zips or snaps closed.

We have set a date of  October 1 and most likely October 8 at 8:00 pm.
