I am also interested in the brick pattern, someone was demonstrating at convention.  It would make a nice blanket or scarf.  It had wribbing on the end and sides and the body was broken down into squares of knit a block and perl a block.  Guess if I took on the chalange, I might be able to figure it out myself!  Sure would make a nice baby blanket with verigated yarn!

A friend of mine had a scarf pattern like this.  You did like a 6 inch square and in each square you learned a new decorative stitch pattern.[like seed  stitch, cable, etc.]  I had hopes that Eileen and Susan could jointly teach  this as a class, but I lost the pattern and my friend misplaced it.  So in  your search if you come across anything like this, please let me know.
