I would line a cookie tray *with an edge around it so that things cannot
roll off) with one of those velour type of materials that the bead shops
sell for working on...the beads will not move when put on this material, and
they will not roll anywhere off of it or from the tray. This is where I
would dump beads a little pile at a time for sorting. but as to what to sort
them into, there are a zillion things you can use. I use very small dessert
dishes from my cupboard...they are small, have tall sides so nothing is
going to get away, and after sorting, then put the beads into their
permanent place for future use. Lynda
