[Nfb-krafters-korner] framing that Completed project

An inexpensive way to frame his work and also leave it exposed so he can
still feel it is by using the plastic triangle edges from report covers.
These are a long strip of plastic maybe 11 inches long with a slot running
the full length of the strip. The strip is triangular. They are used to
slip on the edge of a plastic report cover to keep the report together.
Using a stiff piece of cardboard and 3 or 4 of these edges you can clamp the
project to the cardboard yet not interfere with his project.

These also make great knife edge protectors. Do you ever accidently grab
the edge of a sharp knife in your kitchen drawer? These slide on and
protect your fingers from accidently grabbing that sharp edge.

Hello Dick,
Your message was the first one I read this morning and I am smiling! What a
way to begin the day, to hear about Will completing his project. Hooray for

you both.

Be sure to frame and hang the collage where everyone can appreciate it and
let him know what a beautiful piece of art it is! This is so important
because all art is about communication. This is another way for Will to
communicate with other people. It reflects his sensibilities, his selections

of papers and other things that he chose to put into it, and most of all it
reflects a journey that he has completed.

All artists work in "a series" - that means, if he wants to do it, to begin
the NEXT collage work. Envision a group of his collage works, framed, and
hanging in his home.

Wonderful to hear about Will - thanks so much for letting us know. Lynda
