Hi,
We didn't do many crafts at home for the holidays, but mom baked cookies.
Sometimes we helped. At school, though, we usually made a present for our
parents and we made those paper chains and things like that. One year we
made ornaments from pipe cleaners and beads.
I spent several Christmases crocheting wreaths. I would take a plastic lid
and cut out the center and crochet around the rim that was left. I would
put a red bow on a green wreath and sometimes put a bell on it. I made a
bunch of those. I haven't done it for a while, though. I'd need to get
more red and green yarn. I don't know how I would know, online, if I were
getting bright, Christmasy red and green yarn, since there are so many
shades.
Thanks
Lauren
