Joseli,
Could you please share your Christmas dog cookie receipe with us.
Although I no can no longer have animals of my own to care for our local post office with the old fashioned pigeon hole PO boxes has 2 Golden retrievers that very anxiously await their cookie supply when I go to pickup my mail.
It was so amazing the last time I went down - there was only 1 of the two dogs there that day. She "Meredith" was closed up in the office with postmistress, Jodi. I went in to the front where the boxes were and didn't say, hello or anything as Jodi was busy helping someone at the counter window. All of a sudden there came this loud bark from behind the wall. The postmistress told Meredith to be quiet and she did for about a minute, then come another loud bark. Jodi leaned out the window and said, "She knows you're here!"  So she opened the office door to let Meredith out. Out she came to me and sat down for her cookie treat. Such smart, intelligent dogs!  I truly miss the companionship of God's great gift to man.

Not so much in my family, but I make Christmas dog cookies for my neighbor's
dogs, or for work.

NFB Krafters Korner's Friday's Question of the Week for December 17, 2010

Are there any Holiday traditions in your family either from your past or
present day that include making crafts either for household decorations,
decorating foods, or gifts to be given?

The purpose of the NFB's Krafters Korner's Friday's Question of the week is
to stimulate craft related conversations and for the sharing of information
which crafters who are blind might find helpful.  If you have ideas for
future Fridays Questions of the Week, please e-mail Annette at
<mailto:amcarr1 at verizon.net> amcarr1 at verizon.net or Joyce at
<mailto:Blindhands at aol.com> Blindhands at aol.com.

Happy crafting,

Annette
