How well can the two of you see?  I can see enough to tell most colors, but to read paterns and see pictures, no way.  I can see pictures some, maybe to tell the colors but that's all.  I am colecting my items in braille.  I am embossing the instructions to my classes and putting them in a binder.  
I have a few knitting books, but have not taken on the chalange of using them.

Yes, I do this too, Terry. I come up into the stitch from beneath, loosen it, then come down into it for my K stitch. I do this all the time, as I do knit tighter too.  Lynda River Woman
