Terry,

It's hard to say how to get the already owned stashe labeled. Maybe invite 
somebody to dinner with a yarn labeling planned or some creative thing. Or, 
take a ball a day to work and say what color is this.

What I do that works for me is a card in a gallon plastic ziplock bag. You 
can then reuse the cards and bags and it helps you know what you ran out of. 
Put the actual color name and brand too maybe if you use it a lot.  I hope 
this helps.

My big problem is finding small amounts of a surtain color, when I want it. 
My yarn is not labeled yet.  The id mate will only read lion brand.  After 
use, labels fall off.  I am thinking of making reusable braille labels, with 
allastic bands, for my yarn, but how do you find anyone to help you identify 
the yarn?
I may start with the new that comes into the condo.
