[Nfb-krafters-korner] I did it again...

How beautiful. I am not quite ready. Right now I am lending a helping hand to 2 of my good friends and a sister. I also help the NFB, CFC and Toys for Tots. I am also an animal lover, but not ready to take on the responsibility of a pet. To much adjustments with my divorce.
It should be over in March.

The little girl we help out lives in our area. We have sent gifts and checks directly to her fund. I found her on Face Book, and she lives very close to where I live. After I sent her the Fuzzy Wuzzy hat and scarf, her mom posted a photo of her wearing the set. OH, MY, she looked like an ange. and I felt so happy to see her in it.

Maybe you could call your local blind association and get information of a child you could help if you want to.

Seems to me that once you decide to help someone, they come across your path in life. When I am making a Prayer Shawl, I seldom know who it will be for.
But, veryk shortly, somehow, I hear of a person who could use some comfort and I give it to that person. Other times, I give the shawls to a local church that has a Prayer Shawl ministry and they distribute them at our local hospital.

We also made a trip to our county animal shelter this week, with our two dogs. We took bags of pet foods and treats, and gave them a check to help out a little, too. We love animals, and we cannot take in any more than the ones we have, but we can help the others through supporting our local animal shelter. We try to do everything on a local level because the needs are great.

I bet you'll find your little girl to communicate with! Seems to work that way.
