Ms Tillett,
   I tend to agree with you. We are here to be part of this group, not to join Facebook. For my own opinion I do not partake in Facebook accounts either and feel I don't want to see people advertise their participation in Facebook on our group list. If Facebook wants to advertise to our group they need to pay for an advertisement on our new website.
  I belong to another group (a sewing guild) that imposters send this little standard invitation to the site all the time and it is never from the person who actually is your personal friend, but someone trying to get personal information from you and the group. So beware folks!   
  I'm not saying that this person isn't the original owner of this message, but this type of message doesn't need to be seen here. If this person wants to partake in the craft programs we have to offer then they need to pay for a membership and advertise their crafting techniques on our website. We are not a media for Facebook advertising.
