[Nfb-krafters-korner] Fridays Question

But what if the cane has a grip or handle that causes it not to lie flat on
the floor?
That is a good idea though. I could try a mop handle.
In any case, often the things I drop are little earring backs -- which is
the type of frivolous thing Mom hates to have to be bothered with.
Recently we got a new dog and he loves to play ball, but he hasn't figured
out yet that I can't see where his stupid ball is, and I haven't been able
to train him to come and put the ball in my hand. Yesterday I reached my
hand down and cupped it and said "ball?" and he reached out his paw to shake
hands. I never know he could do that trick. He is so funny, we find out
something new about him every day.
(Obviously this isn't a guide dog -- we got him from the animal shelter.)
Happy krafting.

I don't know about dogs, but your cane can help. smile If you lay your
cane flat on the floor and move it around you can feel a large area at one
time. You can find something as small as a dime on carpet.
