I forgot to say there is a monthly charge.  Sometimes it is combined with your tv and phone.

Internet subscription is an account with comcast, verizon... That gives you e-mail access and internet capeability.

I think what they are saying is that the only money you have to lay out is the $100 donation, and then an internet subscription that you would take care of separately.

Thanks for the info. Do you know what it means by subscribing to an Internet service? As in, will that be additional money added onto the $100? Just curious.  Considering this option to get a computer for use at work, possible.
