[Nfb-krafters-korner] Need Help with a Knitting/Crocheting Device

Thanks for sending them cindy. They are neet!
Were you reading or were those your verbal directions?
I would love to learn how to record, like that. A lot easier than typing every little step for my craft.
I could record and describe my plastic canvis at the same time I am actually doing it, how neet!
It would be easier to tell someone to go up one square and over one square, than to have to give the rows and columns for every little stitch.

Can you send them again. I do not think I saved them. If they are here, I do not find them.

I sent some audio directions for using the "knifty Knitter". If I need to send them again, please let me know.

Okay, I figured I'd better get back to crafts here. *smile* Seriously, though, my friend lent me a strange device for knitting or something that I can't figure out. I've worked on a lap loomb and on a larger loomb that goes on a desk (not a floor one) but have never knitted or sewn anything. In any case, this thing is small, round and has pegs on it. You're supposed to get the yarn through the pegs and go all around to make various items. But I don't know how to get it started, even though she showed me and I can't figure out what I'm supposed to do even once she started it. It also came with a hooked needle that you're supposed to use. Can anyone please explain this in a way that I can understand? It looks interesting and I'd like to try it before I need to give it back. I tried crocheting once, and though I'm usually a quick learner, it took a few days for me to learn how to make a chain and that's about as far as I went.

Thanks,
Eleni
