Amen, Sister Dixie! Thank you so much. I am celebrating! A former professor
I had has invited Bob and I to lunch next week to celebrate. She was my
fibers art professor and a friend ever since I met her as an undergrad art
major. This means so mch to me since it gives me the opportunity for others
to "see" that sight loss does not have to render a person useless and that
we can go forward dispite our losses if we just keep on going and trusting
in God to help us day by day. This group is such an inspiration to me and I
am sure to everyone on it as well. You guys are the first blind people I
have met who do not just give up and quit doing things due to blindness. You
are high energy, enthusiastic, motivating, and CRAZY people!!! And, I mean
that in a good way.
