[Nfb-krafters-korner] Friday's Question Do you go to craft shows?

I have been a vendor at arts and crafts festivals for the past 7 years. I
like to go to ones that are juried, and that do not allow re-sell items in
the show. I like the ones that are made up of people who have actually made
the items they are selling themselves. I like very good quality items, made
by hand by the crafter/artist. My husband helps me do my shows now that I
cannot do them alone. Previously I traveled in three states doing the shows
usually by myself. Now, I cannot do that, so he has stepped in to help me. I
only do about 10-15 shows a year now and I prefer doing them indoors in the
fall season. I still do a few outdoor shows, but here in PA the weather gets
cold and very rainy and last year we were completely rained out of three
shows in a row. Not nice at all, and you lose things that are ruined by
rain, as well as your space fees.
