Here are some newsletters that are local to the Northern Virginia area.

1.  This is not a crafting newsletter, but it addresses issues, concerns,
resources, etc for people with visual impairments.  
Newsletter Name: Loud and Clear 
A quarterly newsletter that provides information for community members with
disabilities. Loud and Clear is available online as well as in large print,
in braille, or on audio tape.

They have an e-mail newsletter
Located in historic Alexandria, VA, fibre spaceT is a full service knit and
crochet community that provides yarn, needles and notions as well as knit
and crochet classes, parties and events. Our space is a landing pad for busy
professionals and families in the DC metro area who are seeking a creative
outlet.

3.  A local yarn shop that puts out an e-mail newsletter.  This the shop
that is doing a helmet liner project, and the one that my daughter and I
made scarves and hats for their charity project.  Maybe you can provide them
with a flyer they can hang in the store about Krafters Korner.
