Lost 2.2 lbs with weight watchers this week.  A total of 52.2 and pluss the 9 I lost before I started, I have reached 61.2!
I am almost to small for Catherines, any more.

Did you ever think of a note taker.  Then you would have voice and refreshable braille.  The braille is more distinct than regular braille.  If you were in dought of a symbol, you could check it with the speech.  I have been reading braille since second grade and do not know where I would be with out it.  I love braille.  
I have my helmit pattern on the computer and one embossed copy at home.  If the braille copy gets lost or damaged, I can emboss another copy to follow.
It is only recently, I am learning to emboss, and I love it!

Ah, Lynda. Braille works amazingly well with electronics. As a very visual learner, I find it so much easier to "read" something in braille that I need to know specifics on than it is to listen to it.

I currently braille out my patterns for knitting. I cut apart each of the lines and keep them on a ring that I can flip through. A paper clip marks which line I am on in case I drop them or they flip around in my bag.
Personally, I would go crazy if I had to knit listening to an audio version of the pattern.
