Yes, 2 1/2 inches x 2 1/2 inches.  I use typing paper or construction paper for these.

You mean two and a half inches?  Should it be thin or thick for learning on?  What about the stem?

  Yes, you will need square paper any size really depending on what size flowers you would like.  I used a 2 1/2 x 2 1/2 for the flowers and they turned out very nice.  Any color paper will do to practice.  The sunflower should be made with a  yellow and the rose can be made with any color.  We will also make leaves/stems to put on the flowers.

    the issue of the conference service, we will not have the class tonight.   We
