Hi everyone,
 
Many thanks for your well wishes.  I got a sliver in the fatty part of  my 
thum just near the crease where you bend your thumb.  It got infected  and I 
have been going to my internist and he sent me to see a hand surgeon the  
end of last week..  The surgeon wants me to go in to the hospital Tuesday  
and he will open it up and clean it out.  Actually, the infection seems to  
have gotten better, the redness has almost gone away and it hurts only in one  
small area now.  They did put me on Keflex and I have been on that for a  
week now.  I am hoping I wake up tomorrow morning and my hand is all  better. 
 I know can't I dream at least?
