We are all set for our Summer Project to make Helmet Liners for our
military folks. I have the pattern for this to be knitted or crocheted. We
have a class planned kicking off June 4 for the knitted version of this hat
and I will plan a crochet and repeat of the knitted version after I return
from Convention in Dallas. It will be towards the end of July.

I just want to let you know that we have found a organized group that will
allow us to send the hats directly to our service men.

Supplies needed:

1 ball worstered weight Cascade 220 100% wool yarn 220 yards Colors that
can be used are: Black, Charcoal, Brown,Tan,Army Green, Navy.
* It must be 100% wool either wash by hand or wash in machine type. Can
not have any synthetic or man made material in it.

16 inche Size 6 circular needle

16 inche Size 8 circular needle
Size 8 double pointed set of 5 needles
4 stitch markers [rubber bands are good]
yarn needle and scissors

Cascade 220 is a soft wool yarn and you can make 6 hats from 5 skeins. each
 is 220 yards.

The hats that I will teach in June has a neck band and an opening for the
face. I will give you some alternatives at the last class for the pattern.
