Has anybody tried downloading these books, and do we know what format they will be in? Also, has anyone downloaded googlebooks?

Hi Dixie:
Well, if this is an NFB project or part NFB does anyone in this group have a
say as to what books will be produced? While I love NLS, I'll be the first
to admit they are as slow as snails in producing titles in accessible
formats. Then too there is the issue of dumping titles out of the NLS
system when they finally determine patterns have to many charts and no one
wants to work out a method for putting the charts into text so blind
knitters can use them. Don't get me wrong, NLS is not the only ones who do
this, I've gotten the same responce when I sent in a few things to VBTI as
well. It would be fantastic if this project would take on a few knitting
titles as well as other craft books.
