Sounds like she does beautiful work. Does she have a site? Is she on the list? We sure could use her and maybe she could sell some items.
My interests are birds, horses, teddy bears dogs and a nice mail holder.

Terry,

Her money maker is hand carved walking staffs and canes. She gets the wood from off the farm. She has also carved the following:

placks
cutting boards
hidden figureen boxes
3 domintional figures
boxes
carved wooden eggs
Christmas ornaments
the list goes on

My favorite piece is a Christmas ornament she called "Hang on Kitty". It was a little orange striped kitten waring a Santa hat holding onto a ribbon that had been draped over a tree branch. It looked just like he had jumped up to grab the ribbon and now was hanging up off the ground. It is so cute.

She has won several first, second and best of show and best of division ribbons at our state fair. She use to do a lot of painting, but when her vision changed, she just shifted to carving and she has been doing it ever since.
