[Nfb-krafters-korner] Knifty Knitter Class...

Thanks Cindy and Henry!
I ended up changing over to one strand of regular yarn. I need to get the hang of wrapping loosely. It has a lot of holes, but rather pretty. Done with cotton, it might make a nice lacey table runner.
What kind of tip was on everyone's hook. Henry thinks there might be a cap on mine, but I can not get it off. Mine has a rubbery texture and I do not want to break it. Thinking of digging out my latch hook and see if it works better than using my fingers.
Is there a right way to dip, to bring the stitch over the top? I mean, come in from the bottem or in from the top of the stitch.
Are the stitches, the small holes and the large holes, the distance between each peg?
What colors did you all use. I started out with royal blue and periwinkle. I tried a fuzzy navy and now I am just using royal.
Most hats I have seen are solid or as Henry said, start with one color for the rim and change to another color for the hat, itself. What do you, make your scain into 2 balls or use 2 scains of the same color?
Bye for now.

Terry P.

You are welcome. You can do/make so much with the looms. More than I even know. We will keep learning together!

Hi:

Just wanted to say thanks to both Cindy Z. and Henry for a really good class last night. I wasn't sure looking at my work last night if I liked it, but this morning went back to the loom and have decided I do like what the loom makes. Its a lot looser than knitting with needles, but the more I work on the tube it seems to even out and the large gaps close up so I do think this will be very cute when its all finished up. Looking forward to next weeks class and learning more about these knifty knitter looms!

Thanks again Cindy & Henry for sharing your knowledge of the KK's.

Eileen
