Cindy,

Intarsia is a technique for knitting pictures or designs into the fabric of
you garment.  We will be knitting a Christmas Tree into the fabric of our
gift bags.  We will embellish them with beads, embroidery floss, buttons,
sequents, embroidery, etc.

DPNs are double pointed needles.  We will use them for knitting and I-cord
for the draw strigs on our bags.

This is Ninn (Linda Flanagan).  You had emailed me with questions about the
Intarsia class I am teaching on Dec 1 and 8.  Those emails you sent to me
went to my Junk mail folder for some reason.  I discovered them last night
and replied to you.

 

Students will need size 3 DPNs

They will need 2 bobbins, either purchased or they can make them from a
business card of card stock.
