*laugh me too...Am I understanding that the word Intarsia just means working with different colors? I have never used a double pointed needle before.  That is what I meant about will it be over my head.  

How big is the bag?

It is Intarsia.And as for your question, "is this going to be over your
head?", if you are an experienced knitter and have worked with different
colors of yarn, like our illusion knit candy corn dishcloth,  where we
dropped one color and picked up another, you should be fine.

So tell me is it Entarshon or Intarsia.  I'm so confused. Okay, I looked
this up on the internet.  So I'm understanding that we are making a knitted
bag in one color that has a Christmas tree on it in another color.  Is that
correct?  Is this  going to be above my head?

Entarshon is color work.  The bag will be made out of one color and  the 
tree will be a differnt color.  dpn stands for double pointed needles
