I am writing this to you because you will understand exactly how I feel today.  I got two checks in the mail yesterday  from two holiday shows I did recently. I was so happy to receive them and see how well I had done with my sales of jewelry and knitted accessories at the two shows.

But what really excited me was that we had gone shopping Firday to buy a futon to put into our library. When I got the checks, I realized that just one of them had paid for my new futon and wonderful linnen pillwos that I bought to put on them.  It made me so happy to know that the work of my hands, in making those items that I sold, had given me this reward, something new and pretty for my house that I had wanted.

We are going to take the wallpaper off that room after Christmas and paint it so that the room will look like a new place - and I am happy to say that my checks will cover the cost of the paint for the room, too.  Makes me smile to think of it!!!
