I took a plastic canvis project to my sisters house, just a mile away. She had a friend over, who also is into crafts. The project I was doing, was originally hers, with a bit of modifacation. She liked my work. We found a craft magazine and had fun looking at items and kits to buy. She saw the nifty knitter and some books on it, 2 yarn organizers and a lot more. I also saw a nifty knitter book with cd at Walmart. I got her the looms at Walmart. I never found the strait loom at Walmart or Michaels.
I love to keep my hands busy while talking, watching tv... I think I ate less munchies because of my crafting. We also watched a movie.
Fun and busy week end. Did a lot of shopping. Next week end I will put up my tree and decorate! I did my door on Thanks giving. My sister said, its only Thanks Giving, I love it!

NFB Krafters Korner's Friday's Question of the Week for 11/26/10

If you are traveling this weekend or for any of the many holidays that occur this time of year, will you be taking along a craft project or multiple projects? If so, what is it and is it something that has to be finished as a gift?

The purpose of the NFB's Krafters Korner's Friday's Question of the week is to stimulate craft related conversations and for the sharing of information which crafters who are blind might find helpful. If you have ideas for future Fridays Questions of the Week, please e-mail Annette at amcarr1 at verizon.net or Joyce at Blindhands at aol.com.

Happy crafting,

Annette
