Thank you, I am reviewing the pattern you sent, I think I got the idea for
head and hair and hat. What did you use for hair and suggestions on making
face. I would not use any thing small that is a choking hazard, so am I
guessing you used thread?

The head is created out of the toe of the sock and the seam that the sock  
has that goes across the top about at the base of your toes is where you put

the  yarn hair of the clown and where you sew the hat to the sock by hand.
