Laurie, I have dipped the end of a thin wire in glue.  Then hang it up or 
drape it over something where it is not touching.  When it dries the   end 
of the wire will be stiff enough to where you can work with it.

I'm doing a strung piece that has thin gguage wire and I was wonder if there 
is anything I can do to make the ends stiff enough to help me better to 
locate  when stringing  seed beads?
