Hi Greg,
I love new recipes and making some myself. I always plan on fancy ways to
keep them organized but rarely do much with it.
I have saved calendars with pretty pictures and strong paper to put favorite
recipes to kep in the kitchen. But they are still waiting. My Braille paper
is bright pink and says something like "if your birthday is on this date or
before in 1961 you can drink alcohol". Lol Does that fall under fancy? Lol
I have been increasing my exercise. My Husband can't walk far because of his
lung problems, ut he rides his scooter and I move along rather quickly
behind. Last week he lost over five pounds and I stayed the same. But
really, I am doing fine.In seven weeks I have lost eight pounds. I have also
enjoyed foods I love and going out to eat. Can't ask for more then this. Lol
No one mentions heir recipe boxes in the class, but I intend to take my
bracelet in when I perfect it.
I think So I guess that said, I am looking for a fancy bracelet. It is my
weekend project. Thanks for the encouragement.
Henrietta

Good job Henrietta! Just remember, you may not get points for age and may
not get as many as he, but, he has more control to exercise too. So, be
proud of your little 21 and I know from experience, you will do it. And,
isn't it challenging and fun to see just how good you can eat and have so
much more food to eat? Kind of like a bite of cheesecake or a pile of fresh
grapes! Or, all that huge pile of popcorn for a point with a little
seasoning! It works.
Sighted people have these creative and pretty recipe boxes. Or, they
decorate a notebook and have them in that. Does anybody in the group do
anything like this? I have to admit that I just stick recipes in a plain
notebook or a stack in my office cabinet. Surely some of us are more crafty
since there's no reason we can't do things like scrapbooking and
beautifying.
