How about using the extra yarn to put together an afkan of many colors.  You have used up many colors and created something useful.  
By the way, my work computer will not let me in the peaches and cream web site.  Hope it is just surver trouble.

Well, I suppose you could purchase yarn one day a month if you needed to...haha  Seriously, I could probably knit most anything from my stash, really.  I do want to challenge myself to be creative with what I have and not buy more next year...a goal I am setting for myself.  Lynda
