I have the same problem.  It is hindering my reading of braille.  Thankfully I can read with my left hand, too.  I usually just read with my right hand.   
Is there something we can put on the callases to make them go away?

I ordered Ramona's book that is available in the NFB store on learning Braille.  It is a book with an audio tape.  I will let folks know how  I do with learning more Braille then I know now.  My pointer finger on my  right hand does have a toughness to it due to knitting I think.  any  suggestions will be most helpful.
