Thanks for the article and she does say that you can use dpn, two circs, or
magic loop with this method.

This actually sounds less confusing than the two-at-a-time socks on magic
loop. I might try this at some point just to learn it but for my socks it is
not a good match since they are not the same in the foot portion. I have
lymphedema in one foot so the toe area and forefoot is almost double my
other foot. That is one of the reasons I really like my hand-made socks.
