If anyone else is puzzled like me, the bead count is for one candle holder, not the total that you will be getting.  I looked at my count for number 1 bead and it was 16 and I had already made 14.  I had 32 pins to make, now where are the rest of my beads?  
Good thing I did not count them at the beginning or I might think I was missing half, Ha ha!

Beaded Candle Votive



Material:



  1.. 12mm Faceted beads - 16
  2.. 10mm Faceted beads - 16
  3.. 8mm Faceted beads - 48
  4.. 18mm Star beads - 80
  5.. 12mm Star beads - 96




16 -#5 Gold safety pins

1 - 14 inch 18 gauge gold wire

1 - 12 inch 18 gauge gold wire



Directions for pin assembly

Construct your pins using this pattern:

A Pin - #5 Pin - make 16:  3,4,4,4,4,4,1,5,5,5,5,5,5



Directions for construction



Row 1:  Using a 12 inch wire, thread the wire through the head of an "A" 
Pin.  Thread a 10mm faceted bead (#2) through the wire.  Alternate between "A" pin and #2 bead all the way around.  Pull the wire together, twist to tighten.  Cut off excess wire.



Row 2:  Using a 14 inch wire, thread through the bottom of the "A" Pin. 
Thread 2 - 8mm faceted beads (#3) through the wire.  Alternate between A pin and #3 bead all the way around.  Pull the wire together, twist to tighten. 
Cut off excess wire.



Place a glass flower pot candle holder into votive with a tea candle.  Enjoy
