[Nfb-krafters-korner] Washing and blocking yarn items

Well, this is unconventional, I know, but I use _Bath and Body Works_ hand
washing soap with vitamins B5 and E. in Creamy Coconut scent! It comes in a
pump dispenser. My knits are so soft and smell so beautiful, I just cannot
get over how fresh and nice they are and they drape so nice. I just put one
pump into the basin in my bathroom sink, with luke warm to cool water. I let
them soak awhile and then very gently let the water out of the basin. I run
in more water and do this a few times, very gently until I am sure there is
no more soap. Then I wrap the garment in large towels, leave them in the
bath tub to drain and the towels absorb the water from the garment. This is
done two or three times, till the garment feels ready to block. Then, I lay
the garment out on more towels and depending on the size of the garment I
lay it out to dry either in the tuc, or on the bed. I will change the towels
during this process, too, a couple more times, till they are dry. This is
working very well for me.
