Yes, I have used it on alpaca, wools, merinos and blends and acrylic 
yarns...works wonderful and is very delicate - I use only a little bit in 
the sink basin, then rinse it out two or three times - and it smells 
wonderful after the garment is dry. mmmmmmm.  :)
