Hi everyone,

I found the book to be very helpful.  It does teach how to knit and has an
easy pattern for the student to do to re-enforce what they have just
learned.   As an experienced knitter, I found that his explanations tweaked
my knowledge and taught me some new techniques.  Primarily, as we all know,
I hate having to sew up a project when complete, so, his chapter on how to
convert a pattern that has been written to be knit flat and then sewn up, to
a project knitted in the round  hooked me.    No more knitting flat and then
sewing it up!  For that alone, the book is worth it!
