They are called crimp beads, but I do not know how to tell you what size
would work.

I have a question for the beeders.  Are there beeds that kind of work like
clam shells? You put these beeds around two pieces of yarn press the ends
together and they will hold the yarn securely together.

If so, what do I ask for, and what sizes would work with yarn.
