[Nfb-krafters-korner] stability balls

To my understanding, there is some sand in it to help it from roling over. I also think your weight helps it to stay in one place. People do things with their hands and bounce on the ball. Your bottom sourt of sinks into the ball a bit, so there is not any pressure on your spine, like in a chair.
I am sure others can describe it better. It takes pressure of like disks.

I just am not getting this. I can't understand how stable it would be sitting on a ball. or how comfortable it would be.[especially knitting on it] Do you have something to hang on to? or is it just balance?

Hi,
My Walmart ball is about ten years old. I use it regularly and it is
working fine. It cost thirteen dollars and came with a pump. Now, todays balls
might not be as good I can't predict how long a new ball will last. But mine has served me well. And i ain't so little.
