Terry,
When you choose a ball, they will say for what height you should be.  I am 5" and it is important for your knees to bend and your feet to fit flat on the floor while sitting on the ball.

My friend got it at Target.  Most likely any store that sells exersize equipment.  My Weight Watchers group sells one.  I just happened to see hers sitting infrunt of her desk and looked around for a chair, but the chair was at another desk.  I met the lady, later in the day, sitting on the ball and started asking questions.
I even tried it out, one morning, last week.  I might be able to use it at home, but can not imagine, typing from that position!  I am short, too, under 5:00 feet.

I sure enjoyed the talk about back pain.  It would be nice if she would join and help us.  
Have any of you crafted while sitting on one of those exercize balls.  They are good for people with back problems and can not sit for a long time.  I tried one for a few minutes, at work.  I met a lady that sits on one and works from one all day.  She can not sit in a chair for long. Just wondering if it might help me, maybe while crafting and listing to the tv at home.

First I would like to thank a few folks for making some suggestions for Monday Night Chats or volunteering  to give and participate in Monday Night Chats.
 
We have had a physical therapist talk to us regarding back pain and how to avoid it.  We had a gentleman that taught Becky how to use a knitting machine and help advise her on what she needed to start up her knitting business.  We had Laura give us a discussion on drop spindles.  I am  working on getting a teacher to teach fabric Origami.
 
Krafters Korner is for everyone and everyone makes  Krafters Korner  what it is.
 
I really need your help to make suggestions on what you would like to expperience on Krafters Korner.  Lectures you might have heard or  interesting people you have met or websites you find that you might want to  learn more about the product.  All of us spend time searching on the  internet and if you find something that sparks your interest please let me know  and email me some information and I promise I will do the digging and see if I  can get more information or someone to give us a talk.  We all love our  crafting and I am sure we tend to look at a lot of things with crafting on our  minds, so send me your thoughts and I would love to plan something for all of us  to think about and put our creative minds to work.
 
I am in search now for a new craft to do.  Something I totally never  tried before.  I don't have any ideas on what it might be so help me find something.
 
Keep these ideas coming so our creative juices will keep flowing.
