[Nfb-krafters-korner] Yarn question

When they say "crochet thread" they're actually referring to the weight of
the yarn, which is to say the category of thickness of the strand of yarn.
Another name for crochet thread is lace weight. And, yes, you can both
crochet and knit with it.
