[Nfb-krafters-korner] Bernat Cotton yarn

Cotton is not the same, by any remote notion, as linen. It is an entirely
different fiber. It does not look the same, does knot knit up the same, and
does not wash and wear the same. Linen is more luxurious than cotton. It is
also more expensive, but it comes in pretty big hanks.

Yarn is like anything else, mostly, that the better yarns cost more than the
ones that are not as nice. Once you use the better yarns, you won't go back.
Then, you seek out the yarn shops that sell it - haha
We have a fantastic yarn shop not far from my home, about 1 hour away. It is
so worth the little drive to go there and buy the nice stuff. The nice
stuff is never found in JoAnns, Michaels, or Walmart -

For some things I do shop those places though. When I need yarns for things
I will sell at the Christmas markets I buy from those places. But for
myself, and family members, I invest in the relaly good yarns. My friend
Christ and I once flew to Vermont, rented a car, and took our list of every
yarn store in Vermont and went on a journey to buy our yarns from those
shops. We were scheduled to attend a yarn workshop on WEd. so we got there
three days early so we could meander all over Vermont buying yarns. OH, what
FUN we had.

We love Cherry Tree Hill yarns, and the Kaleidescope yarn shop in Vermont...
