Neva,
I second the congratulations. I just finished my first baby blanket for my
nephew and gave it to my brother-in-law and sister-in-law, the parents for
Christmas. I agonized over the blocking but my husband finally put it in
the dryer and it turned out so soft and fluffy. They loved it and so did my
father-in-law and stepmother -in-law. They especially loved the color, leaf
green. I was very proud of it. The only thing is that I'm too
perfecctionistic about my work so it takes me longer than need be to finish
something. I plan to work on this as I do other projects. I'm sure your
blanket will be as nice as mine. Keep us postedf on it.
Regards,
Denise

Congratulations, Neva! I'm sure it will be a beautiful blanket when it comes
out of the washer. Glad you got it finished. I'm happy dancing all over the
place for you!

I can't believe it! My first baby blanket for my first grandchild is in the
washer and I am praying that when it comes out it is still knitted yarn not
a jumbled up mess. I used one side of the 48 inch loom from Cindywood Crafts
and 2 14 ounce Sugar 'N Cream cotton yarn cones for a single knit with one
row of knit and one row of pearl stitches throughout using two strands of
yarn. Tanya was my mentor . Thanks so much. I couldn't have done it without
the help I got from this community. That's what we are, a community of
crafters.
