Um, we completely missed the January thaw... it is a full week into
February!

My favorite snow fun is pouring warm maple syrup on a bowl full of fresh
snow... Sound like a Vermont winter to you Theresa?

I can't believe that during all this winter weather I forgot about this fun
in the snow project.

Well, around here there is plenty of snow to enjoy. Just some yellow spots
to compete with. lol

Fill empty dish soap bottles, spray bottles, or other types of plastic
bottles with tops that allow one to squeeze or spray colored water.

You can use food coloring or poster paint to make colored water in your
bottles. Don't forget how much cool aid stains. It will work great for this
project.

Put your color in each bottle. Add water to fill the bottle. Make sure the
water has a good bright color.

Now, dress the kids in warm clothing. But remember little ones might get the
colored water on their clothes. So use old play jackets and gloves or watch
carefully to make sure it doesn't become "War of the sprays".

Now it's time to get out in the cleanest snow around and draw a master
piece. It is a quick activity. The bottles empty quickly, but lots of fun
and the art lasts until a new download of snow or that January thaw we are
all waiting for.
