[Nfb-krafters-korner] Tri-Looms

Oh no...  Tri-loom weaving is something I am just learning.  I purchased my
first triangle-loom this past summer.  I bought a 12 inch loom to see if I
could get the hang of it.  I enjoyed it enough, I purchased a large 7 foot
loom.  I haven't even assembled it yet.  This is my new undertaking along
with the knitting machine for this year.  That is if I can stay away from
taking too many classes at Krafter's Korner.  Guilty grin.




We do have a tri-loom expert here on list though.  It was through her
encouragement I decided to try tri-looms.  Will the real tri-loom weaver
please step forward...

The Tri-Loom is not a knitting loom, but a weaving loom.  The loom I have
just purchased is 7 feet.  It is not for hats, but large flat pieces of
fabric.  I intend on making shawls from the wool I have been spinning.  I
purchased some of the Circus wool for my first piece.  It is a navy blue
with splashes of aqua in it.  I think I will likely do the crocheted fringe,
I think it was Eileen who mentioned it.  It is the fringe in which one
chains the fringe.
