Hi Greg;
I am looking for different sized hearts, Christmas shapes like a reath, candy cane, stocking, ... Easter shapes, shamrock, pumpkin, flower, ...
I am looking for anything that only has a few colors. Not to detailed.
Christmas tree. Animals.
Letters. I have a set of cubic letters. I think they are about 8 by 10 squares. Anything would be great by diagram or sample.

Terry,

I have made a coaster with a long diagonal stitch a long time ago from just figuring it out. But, I'd like to know your coaster, the different stitches that can be used, and pretty much anything. I also want to know how to do a Whozit.

When you ask about books with letters and shapes, be more specific please. I could do for you the print letters representing them with braille dots.
Also, what kind of shapes are you looking for? I'll see if I can help.

Greg

Greg and others out there;
What are your interests in the subject of plastic canvis?
Greg; I do not think you did the loop coaster, yet, did you?
Let me know what you all have made. I could use some ideas. Does any one have a book with Letters and or shapes in it?

Terry P.

Joyce,

I think some more crochet classes would be great! A lot of our group knits, but that's not for everybody. Since I am new, I don't know what has been offered in the past but would like to see a plastic canvas class be taught if that hasn't been done. I also wonder if there's anybody on the list who works with pony beads or something like that?

For crochet, I think it would be great to have an ongoing class where we look at one stitch or technique per month building on our skills till we could confidently tackle a big or more advanced project. And, when folks talk about crochet, we should also think about the kinds of things we want to make. Is it little pieces that travel well, an afghan, baby items, amigurumi (stuffed critters and creatures, clothing, or who has another idea. I like the idea of starting with little hand pieces that travel well and building up to those big ones. What do yall think?

Greg

To Everyone: I would like to know if there are any classes that we
have had in the past that folks might like to have repeated once again?
Please let me know.

We have new folks always joining us and since we keep trying to have new classes we tend to forget the classes we had in the past that allowed us to learn how to do the crafting we do. I would like to come up with a list to allow our new folks the experience of learning some of the basics. So let me know.

I myself think a repeat of the votive candle holder would be a great introduction and project for the folks interested in the safety pin beading.
I think more crochet classes to build on the beginners class we had would be good for everyone. Maybe some of the seed beading classes that Laurie has done would be good. Everyone like one of those first necklace classes she had taught just prior to the holidays a couple years back. Would you like another sewing machine lecture?

Put on your thinking caps or look back over some of the old classes we had in the past and let us know.
