They might work, it depends on the size.  I have a fealing they are made for a picture, way to big for what I need.  My field for a key chain or ornament is 20 by 20 squares.  If I make a hanger for a door knob, I will have about 20 by 30, just guessing, to work with.  I had one with a tree on it, but lost it.

This gave me an idea.  Do you think that the BRAILLE ART pattern would work for using on plastic canvas?  I'm thinking it would.  You could even Braille out the pattern (I believe there was a Christmas Tree in the directions we were given) and use that as your "pattern".  Using brown in the trunk area and green for the tree.  

Just a thought!
